Cruise ships will anchor offshore, and passengers will be brought ashore by tender boats to the Tha Khao pier. If you wish to visit the neighboring island of Ko Yao Yai, regular long-tail boats operate during daylight hours between Ko Yao Noi's Manok Pier and Ko Yao Yai's Chonglad Pier. The journey takes about 10-15 minutes and costs 20 Thai Baht per person.

Given 8-10 hours, Koh Yao Noi offers a blend of relaxation and natural exploration:
- Beach Hopping and Snorkeling (East Side): Head to the East side of the island where the beaches are perfect for swimming and snorkeling. You can easily reach these by scooter or tuk-tuk from the pier. Spend time relaxing on the sand or exploring the underwater world.

- Day Trip to Ko Yao Yai: For a change of scenery, consider a short long-tail boat trip to Ko Yao Yai. Boats depart from Manok Pier (on Ko Yao Noi) to Chonglad Pier (on Ko Yao Yai) for 20 Thai Baht per person, taking 10-15 minutes each way. Once there, you can explore its less developed landscapes.
